About Optimum Wellness and Nutrition

Doing a brand shoot for Dallas health coach, Amy, was right up my alley! I’m telling you, brand shoots are always fun, but they are double the fun when food is involved! And, I’m not just talking any food, I’m talking THE REAL DEAL! As a health coach, Amy’s priority is nutrition and lifestyle changes so clients can get rid of inflammation and be at their best heath! She helps clients do this by educating them on foods that cause inflammation, and replacing them with anti-inflammatory foods that nourish the mind and body. Consequently, her core belief is that food can be your medicine and help you heal from the inside out. So, lucky me, after the shoot, I got to sip on the healthy smoothie Amy blended for the photo shoot! And, boy was it good!

 

I have Amy’s website, Optimum Wellness and Nutrition, bookmarked because I am looking forward to trying her amazing recipes during Thanksgiving! Her blog is chock full of recipe after recipe, from desserts to meals, created for a healthy lifestyle!

 

As a 2014 graduate from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, Amy believes that although nutrition is extremely important, it is only one component that plays into overall health. Her approach to health coaching and what sets her apart is her belief in bio-individuality…each person is unique and has specific individual health and nutritional needs. Stress, work, sleep, relationships, and activity levels all play into this equation. Finding a balance and a plan that works with YOUR lifestyle is the key to success. Brand Shoot for Dallas Health Coach

Since Amy’s primary work is done in her kitchen, that is where we started the shoot. To prep for the photo session, she purchased brightly colored, fresh fruits and vegetables and made scrumptious looking cookies. For variety, she changed shirts several times, which is a cinch to do when the session is at your house! Here is what we captured in the kitchen:

• Amy filling a basket full of fruits and vegetables
• Blending and pouring a smoothie
• She also has affiliate partnerships, so we made sure the products were placed in the frame.
• Taking cookies out of the oven
• Working at her kitchen table
• Images with her precious dog, Bo!

For her second “scene” in her brand shoot, we took branding images in her living room and front porch. Here are a few of the shots:

• Headshots/ Lifestyle poses

Finally, the last scene of Amy’s shoot was outside with her yoga outfit. Obviously, stretching and exercise is very important to a health coach, and we needed to show that visually.
