Senior pictures should show off your personality, so when I saw Zachary arrive at his photo shoot in his cowboy boots, jeans and hat, I knew his personality would shine! Speaking of shining, we had a beautiful autumn day in Rockwall with the MOST. AMAZING. LIGHT! My clients probably get sick of me talking about “the glow”, but that gorgeous light gets me giddy every time! Coupled with the height of fall foliage and a rustic fence line, we had an ideal spot to start. Have I mentioned how much I LOVE my job?!
We then walked around Harry Myers Park for a change of scenery, including a barn to match the cowboy look, a pond (that was in much need of rain), a historic house, and more foliage. Changing into his Baylor University
shirts, we documented his recent college acceptance! (Sic ’em Bears!) He’ll be rooming with a long time friend from church and plans on majoring in business.
Of course, we captured some traditional cap and gown shots, highlighting his National Honors Society involvement at Wylie Prep. Can you believe he has attended there since 3rd grade? (Plus, fun fact – his amazing mother taught two of my own children in kindergarten!) Letter jacket images and patches were next. Known for his love of of cars, we also filled the session with pictures of him with his Ford F150.
It was a fabulous senior session and I loved hanging out with Zachary. I can tell he is a respectful young man, full of Godly character, who has a bright future!
“May integrity and uprighteness protect me, because my hope, Lord, is in you.” Psalm 25:21 NIV
