A Little Background on Seth

Seth, class of 2021 has been a Wylie Prep Patriot since 8th grade. As a cross country and baseball athlete, he not only plays for his school, but has also played select baseball. In addition to being a talented athlete,  he has also received a wide variety of notorieties and awards including distinction as a 2nd Team TCAF All-District Baseball both his sophomore and junior seasons. Serving as the Social Ambassador at Wylie Prep his junior year, he was chosen for the Servant Leadership Award and is a National Honor Society member as well.  A huge highlight was also being a member of the team that won the Theatre TCAF one Act Play Technical Award in 2018.

With all those activities and achievements you would wonder how he made time to accumulate over 150 hours of community service since 9th grade!

Seth’s Photo Shoot

Seth’s photo shoot was unique for me in that we scheduled it for two separate days. Our first shoot took place in Downtown Wylie because he’s been working at C&S Media (parent company of the Wylie News among others.) Seth manages all their websites and social media outlets and covers high school football. So, we took a few images by the news stands with newspaper articles he had written. How cool is that!

From there we took a few more images in Wylie and then headed over to Lake Lavon. Although we had amazing weather for the shoot, we did have to battle the wind! Finally, we moved to a field where he parked his new Camero! Yes, he literally got it a few days prior to the shoot! We took a few pics in TCU gear, as that’s his college of choice.

On day two, we headed to AT&T Stadium and Globe Life Park. As a sports enthusiast, this was the logical place to take senior pictures! Actually, when Seth used to live in Bedford, his dad would take him to a parking lot next to the stadium and watch together as the building progressed. He has photos of him next to a small tree, so we went back to that same tree (not so small anymore) and captured a current image there. Honestly, I had never been to the stadium before and was blown away be the massiveness of it when I was standing right there!

Globe Life Park was beautiful as well! Seth donned his baseball uniform for some shots there. It’s great to think about your passions when choosing locations for a photo shoot! I think Colossions 3:23 is a verse that sums up how Seth is using his giftings. “ Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men.”
