A Little About Ashley

Have you ever read a book more than once? The one in Ashley’s hands is actually a second copy because she read the first one so much! She actually goes back and reads the first, worn out copy because she doesn’t want to ruin this one! It thrilled my heart when I saw the huge bag of books she brought to the shoot (especially because Lord of the Rings was in there!). Although, it took both her mom and I to lift it! 🙂

In addition to her love of reading, Ashley, a class of 2021 senior, loves theater and martial arts. She’s starting college early and is the recipient of the Roger Lawler Endowed Scholarship! Way to go, Ashley!

Ashley spent most of her elementary years and all her middle school and high school years at Wylie Preparatory Academy. As a student there, she was active in many extra curricular activities, including cheer.

Possessing a tender heart towards the things of the Lord, the verse on the back of her letter jacket is Jeremiah 29:13, which says, “You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” She wears many rings that remind her of the goodness of the Lord!

Senior Photo Session

Ashley wanted an old world look for her session, so we settled on Adriatica Village in McKinney. The buildings are so quaint. There are cobblestone streets, a chapel, a tower, and a small lake. It was the perfect setting to show off her gorgeous prom dress! She looked like a princess!

After that, we captured some images of her in a more casual dress, and then her go to outfit – jeans and a plaid shirt! Senior pictures should be fun and adventurous (like the prom dress images), but also give a glimpse into the everyday world of that senior (plaid shirt, jeans, and books). Ashley’s show both and capture the essence of who she is in this season of life!

Congratulations, Ashley class of 2021, on all your accomplishments. I know the Lord has great things in store for you as you stay surrendered to Him!
