As I prepared for Max’s senior session, I slipped on my rain boots. Thankfully, the rain had stopped, but I knew the Wylie Prep football field would be quite muddy. We started Max’s senior portraits on the bleachers and around the field. He has so many memories of playing on that field, starting in 7th grade. Actually, he started school at Wylie Prep in 1st grade, so there are memories beyond the field. I love it when we can incorporate such meaning into senior pictures. Not only that, but Max also brought meaningful props, such as his state medals and helmet!
After the photos on campus, we moved to downtown Farmersville, TX. I love the character in that city! It also held some personal meaning because Max’s parents have a lot there and Max and his dad are going to build a house on it in the coming months! Yes, you heard me right! Max is going into the field of construction science after he graduates. This project will give him practical experience before he embarks on his studies! So, we took some photos on the now empty lot. I can’t wait to come back to see it when the vision comes to life!
Max has a bright future ahead of him and my prayer is Psalm 119:105 that God’s word will be a lamp unto his feet and a light unto his path. The Lord will lead him into his preferred future one step at a time!
