There are a million apps that are suppose to save us time. I don’t know about you, but I often spend MORE time downloading them and watching youtube tutorials on how to use them! Then I forget about them if I don’t make it a habit to use them! Can you relate?

However, as a photographer, I have found a few iPhone photo apps, that I use almost every day! If you want your iPhone pics to look a little brighter, or you need to clean up the background a bit, check them out!

Top 3 iPhone photo apps

1. Pic Tap Go  – this is my absolute favorite app on my iPhone! Because with their presets or a combination of them, the style is similar to the way I edit in Lighroom. Literally, it is just the click of a couple buttons and I’m given so much control! It’s easier than Lightroom and you can make your own recipes.  It is $3, but I would spend a lot more than that for it.

2. Retouch – I love this one! It isn’t free, but totally worth the $2. I learned about this from a wedding photographer couple and educators, and it’s a great way to edit with your finger. For example, if there is an ugly tree stump in the background of your photo, you can easily edit it out just by touching the screen!

3. Canva – I use these to create graphics that match my branding style. There are so many free professionally designed and beautiful templates on there, that you don’t have to create your own, if that’s not your thing. There are presets for instagram posts and stories, facebook covers, PDF’s, iPhone wallpaper and more! Most business owners aren’t graphic designers, and you don’t have to an arm and a leg for one! This app has you covered! Not only are there a million templates you can personalize, but their printed products are top notch too! Their service is reasonably priced and ships fast!

Bonus!

If you are a photographer, a super easy way to set your white balance is with an iPhone photo app called Light Spectrum Pro. I just hold it up to what I’ll be shooting and – Bingo – it spits out a number and I set in on my DSLR! There are so many apps out there – comment with your favorites!
