Audrey | Trinity Groves + Margaret Hunt Bridge {Dallas Skyline} |Dallas Senior Photography

FILED IN:

Seniors

It was noisy, crowded, crazy, with people everywhere and no where to park. Even though I had my GPS, I didn’t know where I was or where to go next. I usually try to make sure that I check websites for client locations ahead of time to ensure that there is not a parade, festival, or big gathering of some sort.

This time I had forgotten to do that. I was in Deep Ellum at 2:30 on a Saturday and you would have thought it was a Saturday night. I just wanted to get out of there. Yes, there were great murals and fun places to shoot my senior’s session, but dodging all the crowds and vendors that lined the streets would have been a nightmare to me and Audrey.

Plan B – I called Audrey and her mom, and they were stuck in construction traffic. Mom was concerned and we talked about alternate locations and finally decided on Trinity Groves in West Dallas. We were originally planning on ending the shoot there, so we decided to stay there for the entire session in order to have enough time before sunset.

Best. Decision. Ever. I’m so glad we were flexible and decided to go there! It was my first time at the Margaret Hunt Bride and in that area, and I could see why every Quinceanera photo shoot in the Dallas area was there! (So it seemed!) It was stunning! Not only was there free parking, but there were plenty of unique shooting opportunities and although there were people around, it was nothing like earlier in the day in Deep Ellum!

As we began the session, I got to know Audrey a little. She is going to be graduating in December and is interested in pursuing real estate. As many times as she moved growing up, she knows a lot about the industry already! She was fun to be around and willing to try all my crazy ideas. She also wore the most amazing high heels and walked in them like a pro! I would have been flat on my face in five minutes! Audrey was a natural in front of the camera and her laugh was contagious! So glad I got to know her! God has great plans for her life!
